Hector’s Corner is nestled in the heart of the tranquil village of Stoke Gabriel, situated on a creek of the River Dart.
The river is a focal point for the village where there is a thriving boating community, kayaks and paddle boarding along with crabbing on the weir of the Mill pool, a popular family activity. The house is also very close to numerous beautiful beaches.
The village boasts a fantastic friendly village shop, well-stocked with quality fresh local produce as well as everyday essentials. We really hope that during your stay you will support this thriving resource rather than supermarkets further afield.
The ancient Church with its famed 1000 year old Yew tree and the Church Inn pub are conveniently located by the picturesque children’s playground and village orchard to keep both parents and children entertained.
There is also the Castle pub, Emma’s restaurant and the fantastic River Shack to choose from.
